Colour

Most diamonds look colourless, but there are many different subtle shades and the closer a diamond is to having no colour the more valuable it becomes. To appreciate the simple beauty of a diamond, you should compare diamonds side by side. Colour refers to the “body” colour. Diamonds are graded on a letter scale from D (colourless) to Z (heavily tinted). Grade D, E & F are considered “colourless”, G, H, I & J are considered “near colourless”. From K up have a yellow tint that can seen by the untrained eye.
